Attorney Bob B. Butler was convicted of theft by conversion and his conviction was affirmed on appeal. Butler v. State, 170 Ga. App. 257 (316 SE2d 841) (1984)
. Theft by conversion by an attorney acting in a fiduciary capacity is a felony, OCGA 16-8-4
and involves moral turpitude. Final conviction of any felony or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude shall be grounds for disbarment. Standard 66 of Bar Rule 4-102.
Butler's petition for voluntary surrender of license is accepted. His name is stricken from the rolls of those authorized to practice law in the State of Georgia. All the Justices concur.
