Title 10, Chapter 4, Section 142
( 10-4-142)
No person, real or corporate, shall operate a service for receiving
within this state flue-cured leaf tobacco for the purpose of
weighing, redrying, and storing said tobacco from the year of
production until the subsequent selling season for sale at that time
without first having obtained a license from the Commissioner of
Agriculture. Each license so issued shall automatically expire at
the termination of the storage period and be subject to renewal
annually under such rules and regulations as the Commissioner shall
prescribe. The license fee shall be $10.00 for each year. Licensed
operators of flue-cured leaf tobacco auction warehouses may be
licensed without cost under this part upon application to the
Commissioner. This part shall not require licensing of any federal
agency, its agents, or contractors who receive carry-over tobacco. |
