( 2-13-5)
Any person who uses to his own advantage or reveals to anyone other
than the Commissioner, officers of the department, or the courts,
when relevant in any judicial proceeding, any information acquired
under the authority of this chapter concerning any method, records,
formulations, or processes which as trade secrets are entitled to
protection, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, provided that this
prohibition shall not be deemed to prohibit the Commissioner or his
duly authorized agent from exchanging information of a regulatory
nature with duly appointed officials of the United States government
or the governments of other states, when such officials are
similarly prohibited by law from revealing this information. |
