( 20-14-60)
(a) The office, with the approval of the council, shall create and
the Office of School Readiness shall adopt the rules and policies
that support a pre-kindergarten accountability assessment program
that is primarily performance based. (b) The office shall develop and the Office of School Readiness
shall adopt performance measures and indicators that provide the
basis for an accountability report card annually on the Office of
School Readiness. (c) The office and the Office of School Readiness shall identify,
define, and develop such performance indicators and measures by
December 1, 2001. The office shall implement and produce the first
report card on the Office of School Readiness and pre-kindergarten
programs by December 1, 2002. (d) After December 1, 2002, the office shall audit those
pre-kindergarten programs as necessary in implementing the education
accountability system described in this part. |
