Title 20, Chapter 3, Section 475
( 20-3-475)
The General Assembly finds that at times areas of the state have an
inadequate supply of persons who are licensed to practice primary
care medicine. It is the purpose of this subpart to increase the
number of Georgia resident students who enroll in out-of-state
colleges of osteopathic medicine in the hope that a substantial
portion of that number will, following graduation, return to Georgia
and practice primary care medicine in an approved medically
underserved area of the state or approved hospital or facility and
thereby provide an increased level of primary medical care available
to the people of this state. |
