The governing authority of any county or municipality which adopts
optical scanning voting systems in the manner provided for by this
part shall, upon the purchase of optical scanning voting systems,
provide for their payment by the county or municipality. Bonds or
other evidence of indebtedness may be issued in accordance with the
provisions of law relating to the increase of indebtedness of
counties or municipalities to meet all or any part of the cost of
the optical scanning voting systems. |
