( 33-23-6)
(a) In addition to the other applicable provisions of this chapter,
the Commissioner shall license as an adjuster only an individual who
has furnished evidence satisfactory to the Commissioner that such
person has had special education or training, with reference to the
handling of loss claims under insurance contracts, of sufficient
duration and extent to qualify the person as reasonably competent to
fulfill the responsibilities of an adjuster. (b) In addition to other applicable provisions of this chapter, an
applicant for a public adjuster's license must have previously filed
a bond as required by rule or regulation of the Commissioner. |
