( 36-44-13)
Payment of redevelopment costs may be made by any of the following
methods or any combination thereof: (1) Payment by the political subdivision from the special fund of
the tax allocation district; (2) Payment from the general funds of a political subdivision subject to the limitations of Code Sections 36-44-9 and 36-44-20; (3) Payment out of the proceeds of the sale of revenue bonds
issued by the political subdivision pursuant to Chapter 61 of this
title, the "Urban Redevelopment Law," and revenue bonds may be
issued under such law for redevelopment purposes within the
meaning of this chapter; (4) Payment out of the proceeds of the sale of tax allocation
bonds issued by the political subdivision under this chapter; (5) Payment from the proceeds from any loans made to a political subdivision pursuant to the authority of Code Section 36-44-16; and (6) Lease payments and other payments pursuant to contracts under
a redevelopment plan. |
