The board shall have the authority to sanction the license of any licensed dental hygienist in this state based upon any ground or violation enumerated in Code Section 43-11-47, in accordance with the sanctions, standards, and procedures set forth in that Code section, or for violation of Code Section 43-11-74 or any other law or rule relating to the practice of dental hygiene, in accordance with the sanctions, standards, and procedures set forth in Code Section 43-11-47.
