Title 43, Chapter 3, Section 8 (43-3-8)

(a) Any written examination described in paragraph (4) of subsection (a) of Code Section 43-3-6 and subsection (b) of Code Section 43-3-6 may be administered orally if the board determines that an applicant's physical disability or other circumstances render him incapable of taking a written examination. Any applicant who desires to have an examination administered orally shall present to the board such evidence, as it deems appropriate, of the disability or other circumstances necessitating such oral administration. Such evidence shall be submitted to the board prior to the date of examination as provided by rules of the board.

(b) A permanent record shall be made of all examinations administered orally in accordance with subsection (a) of this Code section.
