(a) The board shall issue licenses to practice medicine to all persons who shall furnish satisfactory evidence of attainments and qualifications under this chapter and the rules and regulations of the board. Such license shall give absolute authority to the person to whom it is issued to practice medicine in this state.

(b) It shall be the duty of the executive director, under the direction of the board, to aid in the enforcement of this chapter and in the prosecution of all persons charged with violations of its provisions.

(c) Every person holding a license issued by the board under this article shall display it in a conspicuous place in the licensee's principal place of practice.
