This chapter is enacted for the purpose of safeguarding the public
health, safety, and welfare by providing for state administrative
control, supervision, and regulation of the practice of barbering,
teaching of barbering, barbers, barber teachers, barber apprentices,
barbershops, and barber schools. Barbering is declared to affect
the public interest, and this chapter shall be liberally construed
so as to accomplish the foregoing purpose. |
