( 50-6-26)
The state auditor shall prepare and publish, by and with the
approval of the Governor, complete forms applicable to the business
transacted in each of the several boards, offices, institutions,
departments, and commissions of the executive department of the
state government, the same to be as uniform as the business
respectively transacted therein shall permit; provided, however,
that the Department of Administrative Services shall in all cases
require each and every one of the several boards, offices,
institutions, departments, and commissions of the executive
department of state government to use consecutively numbered
requisitions, purchase orders, and field purchase orders, which
documents shall be retained and filed in numerical sequence to
provide a procurement audit trail. It shall be the duty of each of
the boards, offices, institutions, departments, and commissions, as
directed by the Governor, to employ such forms and none other in
transacting and recording their several financial transactions of
every nature. |
