If any resident of this state is interested as creditor, heir, or legatee in the estate of which a foreign trustee is the representative, he may apply to the proper court to compel the foreign trustee to protect his interests, according to equity and good conscience, before the trustee removes the assets of the estate beyond the limits of this state.
