Definitions for "rural county" in Georgia State Code

1. (31-7-94.1) Title 31, Chapter 7, Section 94.1

(3) "Rural county" means a county having a population of less than 35,000 according to the United States decennial census of 1990 or any future such census.

2. (48-7-29) Title 48, Chapter 7, Section 29

(1) "Rural county" means a county in this state that has 65 persons per square mile or fewer according to the United States decennial census of 1990 or any future such census.
