Definitions for "school year" in Georgia State Code

1. (20-2-942) Title 20, Chapter 2, Section 942

(2) "School year" means a period of at least 180 school days beginning in or about September and ending in or about June.

2. (47-3-102) Title 47, Chapter 3, Section 102

(a) As used in this Code section, the term "school year" means a regular school year which begins during or near September of one year and ends during or near June of the following year.
